In a collaboration with nonprofit 24 Hr. Power Inc. and the Plymouth County Drug Abuse Task Force, a new billboard sporting “Roxie,” the new mascot in the community’s fight against opioid addiction, was unveiled Tuesday morning at 2020 Main St.

Artists in recovery paint shower truck for Brockton homeless
The Universal Missionary Church and its Homeless Improvement Project got assistance on Wednesday from a group of artists who want to help the church provide assistance to the homeless in style. The nonprofit charity 24 Hr. Power Inc. and its artists in recovery spray-painted a mural on the side of a box truck that the Universal Missionary Church plans to use to provide showers and haircuts to the homeless in the downtown area.

The “Recovery Graffiti Nights” have been held at Buffalo Wild Wings in Brockton for the past year. 24 Hr. Power, Inc., the group behind the recovery graffiti initiative, thanked the restaurant for hosting them once each month, providing free wings and drinks.
